You can transfer your domain to Web Lark from another registrar. You'll need to prepare your domain name at your current registrar before starting the process on our website.
Some important notes about domain transfers:
- The transfer of domains can take some time to complete. While we make every effort to facilitate your transfer, we cannot be held responsible for delays due to errors made by third parties.
- .ie domains will usually transfer within one day, as long as a valid Authorisation Code (or EPP code) is provided.
- .com domain transfers can take up to 7 days to complete. Please ensure that you have allowed for this when transferring a domain approaching its renewal date.
- Expired domains and domains registered within the previous 60 days cannot be transferred.
- .co.uk domains will usually transfer within one day, however, you should allow up to 7 days.
- In most cases transferring your domain will also add +1 year to your current registration period.
- Transferring your domain does not transfer your email accounts and/or website content. Nor does it automatically update or change the DNS/Nameservers records for the domain.
How Do I Transfer a .ie Domain?
Before you start:
Check that the Registrant/Admin Contact for your .ie domain is up to date and correct
Request the Authorisation Code (or EPP code) for your .ie domain from your current registrar
Ensure that your domain is active and has not expired
Once you have obtained the Authorisation code (or EPP code) for your domain, you can place your transfer order via our website at https://www.weblark.com/cart.php?a=add&domain=transfer.
Providing the Authorisation Code is correct, .ie domain transfers typically complete the same day.
How Do I Transfer a .com/.net/.org/.info or gTLD Domain?
Before you start:
Check that the Registrant/Admin/Tech Contact for your domain is up to date and correct
Request the Authorisation Code (or EPP code) for your domain from your current registrar
Ensure that your domain is unlocked at your current registrar
Ensure that your domain is active, is older than 60 days and/or has not expired
Once you have obtained the Authorisation code (or EPP code) for your domain, you can place your transfer order via our website at https://www.weblark.com/cart.php?a=add&domain=transfer.
Once the domain transfer order has been placed, you will receive an email asking you to validate & approve the transfer.
If you do not receive this email, you will need to contact your current provider to update your details.
Once you've approved the transfer request, the domain transfer is normally completed in 7 days.
How Do I Transfer a .uk/.co.uk Domain?
Before you start:
Check that the contact information your .uk/.co.uk domain is up to date and correct
Ensure that your domain is active and has not expired
Change the IPS Tag for your domain to: PDR-IN at your current registrar
Once you've completed the steps above, you can place your transfer order via our website at https://www.weblark.com/cart.php?a=add&domain=transfer.
The domain transfer is normally completed within 1 day, but please allow up to 7 days.
